About this speaker
There is a torrent of hype and unrealistic information around podcasting at the moment, with plenty of online marketing experts and podcasting gurus shouting loudly and touting their programs, groups and masterminds. I take a different path. I start where no-one else does - by helping you to learn and reflect on the practical realities of developing a podcast show.
I focus on providing straightforward and practical podcast advice and training, creating sensible steps to guide you towards a successful podcast launch.
And I didn't just pop up last week, suddenly calling myself a podcast expert!
I supported my first client podcast in 2011, and launched my own successful podcast, Stitchery Stories, in 2017. With no existing platform or audience or following when I launched, my textile art podcast features in Apple Podcasts Top200 in Visual Arts, around the world. It frequently hits the Top10 in USA Visual Arts, and my global, engaged, audience continues to grow.
I have spoken on the practical aspects of podcasting at international online conferences, and I am a featured contributor on podcasting, on a major portal for financial advisors. Oh, and I also provide training on podcasting for a leading online freelance training provider.
In fact my long-standing corporate IT and training career experience laid the strong foundations to being able to create my clear, simple, step-by-step training that guides you through what you want and need to learn about podcasting.
